In-Depth Eye Exams
Regular eye exams are critical to maintaining your eye health. During these routine examinations, we closely evaluate your eyes to detect any vision-impairing conditions in their earliest stages. Many eye conditions, such as glaucoma and cataracts, do not present symptoms during the initial stages of the disease, and it is even more essential to have your eyes examined on a regular basis. Early detection of any eye-related conditions allows our doctors to provide the necessary treatment in a timely manner.

During your eye exam, we will assess your vision as well as your ocular health. The vision assessment allows us to monitor any changes in your vision and provide you with an updated prescription. To evaluate your ocular health, we utilize top-of-the-line diagnostic technology. We will check for signs of glaucoma and cataracts, in addition to other retinal abnormalities. We will also check your pupil reflexes, ability to differentiate between colors, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Fitting You for Contact Lenses
Whether you currently wear contacts or you want to try contacts for the first time, we will include a contact lens fitting with your eye exam. For patients who already wear contacts, this helps to ensure your existing prescription fits optimally and does not cause any discomfort. Ill-fitting contacts are not only uncomfortable, but they can also damage your cornea. To fit you for contact lenses, we simply measure your eyes to ensure the diameter, curvature, and refractive correction of your lenses are appropriate.
If you have never tried contacts because of chronic dry eye (CDE) or astigmatism, we offer a range of contact lens options to meet your unique needs. Drs. Gordon Wong and Wildon Wong have extensive experience in fitting patients with these conditions for contact lenses.
